MORE ABOUT US
We partner with about 20 key local nonprofits, and place our strongest emphasis on student leadership in every facet of our office. As we've grown from about 15 Bonners at the start of last year to about 45 this year, we've moved from issue-based teams to a site-based model. We hold weekly all-corps meetings, monthly individual advising sessions, and have a year-long course for first year Bonners. Training comes through our weekly meetings, though we also use three multi-day retreats, an immersion trip, and an exchange trip for deeper training experiences. Students serve not only as coordinators for each one of our partnering sites, but also hold more advanced leadership roles as directors of those coordinators, leaders of our endeavors into policy research, nonprofit consulting, and outreach, and as senior interns.

VIDEOS
Highlights of our Olympic-themed Fall 2008 Orientation.
Clips spotlight our opening dinner with new Bonners and their families, the ceremonial lighting of the Olympic flame, a sampling of the many hidden talents that our Bonners demonstrated during Olympic competition, Garrison’s take on the events, our cookout, a late-night game of water polo, and Ashley’s performance at our closing ceremony. (Our thanks to Laura for the videography.)
